I kind of mean "we" more in the royal
sense. I mean there's me, Chuck Ritzke. Click for my resume, suitable for printing, emailing, or
framing.
But I do have a good network of associates that I work with
upon occasion for projects that require more resources,
including actuaries who specialize in health, pensions, etc.,
and IT professionals both for the desktop and the web.
I'm sure I can scare up and coordinate with other experts too
if needed.
And though I'm an actuary, I even have friends
too. Honest, I do.
So, MyActuary is not a big consulting firm.
I can almost hear the "what if he gets run over by a beer
truck" comments out there. (Why is it always a beer truck?
Does it have something to do with where your key people hang
out?)
Anyway, I don't work like many of the large consulting
firms. Take a look at the sampling of my insurance, web, or desktop projects. I
generally don't do projects where I go away for two
months, do my thing,
and come back with a big report and
a big invoice. (Although I have to admit, I do like the big
invoice part!) I can interact and work with
employees at all levels of the company. When I write systems for you,
you get the source code. If you decide to
bring my work in house at some point, I'll help you do
it. I'm kind of like an extra employee when you need one, except
without the cubicle, benefits, vacation, or severance pay.
So I can dance in front of that beer truck and you don't
need to worry. |
