|The Special Agents Mutual Benefit Association (SAMBA) is a special source for group insurance designed for those federal employees we serve. Rather than being an insurance company with customers, SAMBA is an association with members. As a not-for-profit employee association, we develop plans not because of the profits they will yield, but because of the needs they will fill. SAMBAs goal is quality service rather than growth, that is why our plans are only available to (active & retired) federal employees of a few, select agencies.
SAMBA offers: health, group term life, disability income protection, personal accident, dental and vision, and long-term care insurance plans. A personal legal services plan is also available. We believe these plans are among the best available to employees of the federal government and that our programs are tailored to meet your needs.
We invite you to compare our costs and coverage with other plans and acquire SAMBA protection for you and your family.
The SAMBA Health Benefit Plan is part of the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program (FEHBP) and is self-insured by SAMBA, other plans offered by SAMBA are not part of the FEHBP.
Note: First time enrollment in some plans (i.e., group term life) are restricted to active employees only.
